Unfortunately, in today's Western world we have the tendency to drive ourselves in the opposite direction and into a state of disease, disability, and general unhealthiness.
As yoga instructors, we are situated to help with this problem in several ways.
Firstly, we are able to teach stress reduction techniques like mindfulness and meditation. These techniques are proven to decrease ansiety and stress, increasing focus and resiliency.
Secondly, we can offer non-medical yet evidence-based strategies and remedies that complement and individual's health care plan.
Thirdly, we can assist individuals and businesses by implementing programs before medical intervention is necessitated and prior to diminished productivity.
